…in 5 minutes? I thought I was doing okay as I was going through it, but once I saw the list of countries I missed, I felt less cocky. Also, I was surprised how quickly five minute breezes past when you’re trying to do this. Memory counts, but the time it takes to type in each country name is a significant factor as well. I suggest you try to think of countries with short names first. (Via Nik Fletcher at Download Squad).
I got 73. Once I figured out that it was cap sensitive, I switched to all caps and did better. Also, there were many (Kyrgyzstan, for example) that I thought of, but didn’t even bother to try to spell.
Of the ones I missed, the most embarrassing are: United Kingdom and United States. When “England” and “USA” didn’t work, I felt that playing a “what variation of the name are they looking for” game would be counter-productive to the time goal.
